Dr. John, in his role as the Executive Director of NOVA ScriptsCentral, an award winning nonprofit charitable pharmacy headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, stands out as a dedicated advocate for public health. He tirelessly champions the cause of addressing health disparities, promoting health equity, and understanding the social determinants of health.
Dr. John possesses significant expertise across a range of vital areas, including precision medicine, fostering patient engagement, managing population health, addressing health disparities, and advancing mobile health technology solutions. He lends his medical advisory talents to numerous companies with a core focus on health and wellness, patient engagement, and ensuring medication adherence.
At present, Dr. John holds the esteemed position of Chair on the National Minority Quality Forum Advisory Board. Furthermore, he actively contributes to several boards, including the Mid-Atlantic Kaiser Permanente Research Institute Community Advisory Board, the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics, the Virginia Association of Free & Charitable Clinics, among others.
