James Streeter is a global growth strategist, transformational change catalyst, and next-generation life sciences technology executive with 25+ years’ experience driving breakthrough strategies, products, and services that generate hundreds of millions of dollars in new revenue and improve clinical trials for top pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotech innovators, and healthcare organizations. As a visionary business leader, he excels in building and enhancing organizational capabilities while forging strategic alliances to accelerate product development and commercialization.
Widely recognized as one the most influential thought leaders in the life sciences industry, Mr. Streeter currently serves as the global vice president of life science customer success for Oracle Health Sciences.
Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Streeter dedicated ten years to multiple executive director roles at PPD (Pharmaceutical Product Development), assuming full leadership over electronic data capture, IT systems development, IT business engagement and delivery, and ultimately eClinical strategy and innovation.
Mr. Streeter also spent seven years at Pfizer where he developed their first EDC system, enabling the company to simultaneously run hundreds of clinical trials to accelerate commercial drug development. He led the company through the first EDC audit by the FDA, which was one of the first EDC audits industry wide.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Streeter led large-scale, complex hardware, software, and systems engineering projects for the U.S. Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
Mr. Streeter has won multiple awards including the Oracle Outstanding Partnership Award and Pfizer Global Research and Development award. In 2018, he was named to the PharmaVoice 100. As a sought-after industry leader, he is a member of the Accenture Life Sciences Consortium, the Innovation Forum, and Tufts Real World Evidence Initiative.
Mr. Streeter earned his bachelor of science degree in computer science from Eastern Connecticut State University and continues to stay up to date on the latest industry trends as an active member of organizations such as Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), Drug Information Association (DIA), Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM), Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), and the Association for Clinic Research Organizations (ACRO).
