Jason James has spent over 18 years working across a broad spectrum of healthcare environments from large health systems to IPN’s as an executive leader driving growth and patient engagement. He has extensive experience in large multi-hospital health systems and some of the nation’s largest and most progressive companies specializing in delivery of outpatient services to include physician practices/clinics, retail medicine, occupational medicine and virtual health. Most recently Jason was Regional Vice President, NextCare Urgent Care where he led operations and development for the State of Texas in a JV partnership with BaylorScott&White Health. His focus in this role was growing to new locations to support patient access and loyalty to company partners. Prior to joining NextCare, Jason was a Vice President for WellMed Medical Management, a San Antonio-based employed medical group part of Optum Health where he focused on senior populations and driving operations/P&L in a value-based care environment. Jason attended Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) and holds a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration.
