Tine Hansen-Turton is a seasoned successful healthcare and human services executive with 25 years of experience in C-suite executive leadership, serving as CEO, CSO and COO roles throughout her career in nonprofit, private and government organizations. She has both founded and led several nationally recognized companies in health, human services, education and trade associations, and has secured multi-billion dollars in new business.
As a founder and publisher/facilitator of a social impact/innovation journal and incubator lab, Tine is known for her passion to successfully advocate for vulnerable populations with medically and behaviorally complex needs, challenges and disabilities. Tine has tremendous content expertise in primary and behavioral health care, health and human services administration, disabilities and behavioral health, and population health and education. She has developed many innovative health care programs and business models (i.e. federally qualified integrated care specialty clinics, retail clinics and nurse-led care centers, specialized population health organizations, life-cycle care management organizations) throughout her career, including starting dozens of non-profits and private businesses, such as the popular Retail Clinic Industry Association, the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium and the PANJ Health and Disabilities Consortium.
Tine is experienced in corporate strategy, business development, growth and operations, operational and corporate financial turnaround, start-ups, foundation management and leadership, program implementation and scaling, as well as national and global consulting. She has created hundreds of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and mergers and affiliations, including healthcare financing, managed care, and outcomes-driven public/private partnerships. She has served on several private and not for profit boards, conversion foundation boards and has robust knowledge in healthcare policy and regulatory development, state, federal and global systems change. Through her leadership and expertise, she has doubled or tripled the size all of the organizations she has led and/or supported.
