Ty Faulkner

Population Health / Strategist

Ty Faulkner is a proven global healthcare executive leader advising pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, & Health Information Technology (HIT) companies on Population Health, Quality Metrics, Learning Systems, Interoperability, Pharmaceutical sales management, & Big Data. He has led corporate objectives in sales force operations, IT strategy implementation, VC & PE Funding, business development, acquisition/merger, and exit strategy.

Ty is passionate about improving access to preventative health care, mental health programs, and advanced medical research treatments for poor people by reducing the technology digital divide in underserved communities across the nation.

Mr. Faulkner is an entrepreneur leading several start-up technology and blockchain companies and has earned numerous leadership awards reaching “best-in-class” Who’s Who status in Health IT.

Ty is a steering committee leader for the world largest healthcare tech association called Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), he’s a member of The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and member of the distinguished healthcare data security leadership “think tank” group known as the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS). Ty has served as a Federal Advisor to key Washington, DC federal policy departments including Health Human Services (HHS) and the Office of National Coordinator (ONC).

Ty Faulkner is a national speaker and thought leader in health information technology fields. He is a college lecturer teaching courses in leadership, research careers, communications, and health technology at multiple colleges in Michigan and online across the US. Mr. Faulkner honorably served in the US Marine Corps, holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University’s School of Public & Environmental Affairs, a graduate degree from Michigan State University in Communications & Advertising, and is a licensed Health IT Management Systems Consultant Advisor. He also studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Executive MBA School specializing in Pharmaceutical & Chemical studies. Mr. Faulkner is certified as an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Health Information Technology Software Applications Lead.
